Please Follow The Steps Below :
1. Connect the 11 pin MHL adapter to your samsung galaxy s4 micro USB port.
2. Plug in the wall charger on the MHL adapter.
3. Connect the HDMI cable on the MHL adapter and connect the other end on your TV's hdmi port.
4. On your TV remote control press on "Source" and select the HDMI slot that you used.
Important :
You need to plug in the charger to the MHL adapter. It will not work if the power is not plugged in.
